Christmas at Kearney
December 2nd through 23rd
the Fresno Historical Society this December at Kearney Mansion. Itís the
beginning of the American Century. Step back in time to a Victorian
Christmas celebration in turn-of-the-century America! Experience the sights
and sounds of Kearney Mansion decorated for the Holidays.
Christmas Tree Lane
opening night of Christmas Tree Lane, millions of lights are turned on at 6
p.m. and remain lit until 9 p.m. Some 140 homes and 300 trees are decorated
and the display spans about two miles. The free event is sponsored by Tree
Fresno, the Fig Garden Homeowners Association and Fig Garden Village.
City Renaissance Festival
Fresno City College Renaissance Festival is the recreation of a 16th century
village fair, held on the college campus, 1101 E. University Ave, Fresno,
CA. on the west lawn in March. The event will feature hundreds of costumed
entertainers from throughout the state of California.
Mathias Fresno Relays
annual spring relays in the San Joaquin Valley, has long attacked some of
the world's finest athletes onto Ratcliffe Stadium until moving to Warmerdam
Field. Its predecessor, the West Coast Relays and the Bob Mathias Fresno
Relays has had 40 world records broken or tied in the 74-year history of the

Kingsburg Swedish Festival
invited to a Scandinavian vacation the third weekend in May. You can
experience and taste culture of Sweden here in the San Joaquin Valley. This
three day event is filled with entertainment, food and fun.
Summer Concerts in the Park (Woodward
concerts offer something for the entire family. Whether it's dancing the
night away or just relaxing with great music and good friends, Concerts in
the Park is the place to be! The two-hour concerts are free to the public
and feature a wide variety of music appealing to all ages.
The Fresno Philharmonic began as a volunteer community
orchestra in a high school auditorium in May of 1954. Since then, it has
grown to a professional regional orchestra with a budget of $1.8 million.
The Fresno Philharmonic has performs at the William Saroyan Theatre in
downtown Fresno. The Fresno Philharmonic presents high quality, live
orchestral music to audiences throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
Fresno Grand Opera produces internationally-acclaimed opera and world-class
